In mid-August, the Ministry of Public Security inaugurated the headquarters of the National Data Center No. 1 and officially put into operation the Database system at the National Data Center. This is an important milestone, marking the formation of the National Data Center, considered the "heart" of digital transformation, the "brain" of the era of growth and prosperity.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, the construction of the National Data Center has ensured the highest domestic and international standards on construction, security and safety; standards on environmental protection, green energy...

With standard design and construction, National Data Center No. 1 will provide station infrastructure and cloud computing platform infrastructure for agencies and organizations, ensuring synchronization, modernity and high security.

In the current digital age, data at the National Data Center is considered the core platform for providing data-related services, supporting policy making, creating development, building digital government, digital society and digital economy, ensuring national defense and security, and enhancing national competitiveness with the spirit of "A unified system, a single data, a seamless service".

The official operation of the National Data Center by the Ministry of Public Security is an important step forward, turning data into a truly valuable resource, a new means of production - the core element, the "blood" of today's digital economy.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the National Data Center is an important task of the digital infrastructure development strategy and digital government. The center covers an area of ​​over 20 hectares, with a scale of 1,300 racks. This is one of the largest data centers in Southeast Asia, the first national center to be granted the highest level of international certification, meeting disaster resilience and high levels of security and safety.

The leader of the National Data Center said: Platforms, digital products, and core utilities are developed to build a "national digital ecosystem" from centralized data. That is, a sharing platform to coordinate national data; deploy the National Public Service Portal at the National Data Center; from data resources, the National Data Center has built an information system to serve the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister; The data floor is a digital intermediary platform, where data subjects connect, share, exchange, and buy and sell data...

The National Data Center, which was put into operation, immediately served the Party, State, Government agencies, people and businesses in handling administrative procedures, directing and operating, developing the digital economy and digital society, bringing core values. In the coming time, the Ministry of Public Security will focus on both exploiting and operating the National Data Center No. 1 and implementing the construction of National Data Centers No. 2 and 3 according to the set roadmap.
