Meeting to deploy budget revenue and expenditure plan for February 2025

On February 6, Comrade Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to the report on the results of the implementation of the state budget revenue and local budget expenditure estimates for January 2025 and the detailed plan for budget revenue and expenditure for February 2025.

In January 2025, the total state budget revenue in the area reached 5,242 billion VND, equal to 9% of the central and provincial estimates, equal to 99% of the same period. The cumulative 2 months are estimated at 8,968 billion VND, equal to 16% of the central estimate, equal to 100% of the same period. Regarding local budget expenditure, in January 2025 it reached 1,733 billion VND, the cumulative 2 months are estimated at 3,343 billion VND, equal to 11% of the estimate, equal to 145% of the same period.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested to review and evaluate the entire 2024 extended expenditure estimate before February 15, 2025, and requested to focus on handling difficulties and obstacles in public investment projects and investment projects using non-budgetary capital, and issue separate plans for each project and work to clearly define the responsibilities of relevant agencies, investors and each contractor and consultant to strictly control the quality and progress of construction and project implementation. He emphasized that there must be absolutely no loss, waste, or negativity, including waste of time due to slow processing and issuance of documents to seek opinions from units that are not in charge of the task of giving opinions; waiting time for sending opinions or unclear and specific responses prolongs the time for processing documents. For local budget revenue, it is necessary to develop a specific plan for land revenue, requiring the Department of Finance and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to proactively report the results of land price development. Require local People's Committees to report and submit land allocation dossiers for public investment projects and projects that are allowed to allocate land multiple times in a project periodically on the 10th, 20th and 30th of each month.
