More than 23 million students nationwide will sing the National Anthem at the opening ceremony.

On the upcoming opening day, the Ministry of Education and Training requires teachers and students across the country to perform the flag-raising ceremony and sing the national anthem at the same time, connecting online.

From 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5, all delegates, teachers, students and pupils will fully participate in the program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training , perform the flag-raising ceremony, sing the National Anthem at the same time as the flag-raising ceremony at the National Convention Center, and listen to the speech of the General Secretary. The school's planned activities (if any) will be organized concisely and end before 8:00.

This is the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training in the document sent to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities and the official dispatch directing universities and vocational training institutions on organizing the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education.

The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that localities and educational institutions prepare adequate transmission lines and equipment to connect online or via VTV1 channel to ensure stable signals, good image and sound quality, and have appropriate response plans for weather conditions. The Ministry of Education and Training will issue a written notice on online connection lines.

The Ministry of Education and Training also requested localities and schools to increase communication about the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and the opening of the 2025-2026 school year through appropriate forms of communication, creating a widespread ripple effect in educational institutions and the entire sector.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the opening of the 2025-2026 school year will take place on the morning of September 5 at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to educational and training institutions nationwide.
