What should candidates do when they arrive at the exam room to complete exam procedures?

At the exam room, the invigilator will guide candidates through the steps of identity verification, receiving their exam cards, and they will listen to the exam regulations.

Accordingly, candidates need to carefully check their identification documents before leaving home to avoid unnecessary mistakes. They need to be present at the examination room at the specified time, present their Citizen Identification Card or Passport and receive their exam card.

In case of detecting errors in name, date of birth, priority subjects, priority areas, candidates must immediately report to the supervisor or officer in charge at the examination site for timely handling. In case of loss of identification documents, it is necessary to immediately report to the Head of the examination site for consideration of support according to regulations.

Do not be absent on the day of procedure.

Candidates should arrive at the exam location 30 to 45 minutes early to avoid being affected by heavy traffic during rush hour, and ensure they arrive at the exam room on time.

In particular, candidates should not be absent on the day of registration because this is an important time to receive the exam card, check and correct personal information if there are any errors, as well as listen to the exam regulations and schedule.

Security and safety work for the exam was properly and adequately implemented, ensuring fairness for all candidates.

Being absent on the day of the procedure can cause difficulties for candidates during the exam, such as not having an exam card, not knowing the exam schedule, exam room, or even not being able to take the exam if they do not complete the necessary procedures in time.

As for clothing, students should choose polite and comfortable clothes. It is best to wear their school's regular or gym uniform. In particular, avoid overly colorful and fussy clothes.

In case you are unable to come to complete the procedures on June 25, you should proactively contact the school or the testing site to be guided on solutions, including completing the procedures later or receiving remote support. If you are unable to do so, you should arrive early on the morning of the first test day to complete the procedures and receive your exam card.

During the exam, if you need medical assistance, you should immediately notify the invigilator in the room or contact the medical office at the exam site for timely support.

The high school graduation exam took place on June 26-27 with more than 1.16 million candidates, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to last year. This year, both students following the new (2018) and old (2006) generaleducation programs participated, with different subjects and exam questions.

Candidates taking the graduation exam for the first time under the 2018 program must take four exams, including compulsory Math and Literature, and two elective subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages).

Candidates taking the old program will take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language tests, and one of two Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education) tests.

The 2025 high school graduation exam scores were announced on July 16, one day earlier than last year.
