Scientific workshop to update knowledge on hematology and coagulation testing and laboratory operations

On the afternoon of June 13, Ninh Thuan Provincial General Hospital coordinated with Duy Minh Equipment Company Limited to organize a scientific workshop on "Updating knowledge of hematology and coagulation testing and optimizing laboratory operation efficiency" for nearly 200 students from clinical, paraclinical and hematology and blood transfusion departments of the hospital and medical facilities in the province.

At the conference, leading speakers in the field of hematology testing presented topics on: Peripheral blood cell analysis - Role and clinical significance; MDW topic: New biological index in sepsis; Approach to hypercoagulation pathology and discussion of coagulation results in clinical cases of hypercoagulation - thrombosis; Pioneering solutions in coagulation and hematology - advanced technology - upgrading diagnostic testing capabilities.

Through the workshop, it helps medical staff at hospitals and medical facilities in the province to update, exchange knowledge, improve professional capacity and access new techniques in the field of hematology, contributing to improving the quality of expertise and treatment at medical facilities. At the end of the workshop, qualified trainees are granted a certificate of continuing medical education (CME).
