With 120 booths, the fair attracted the participation of about 100 businesses, displaying products that meet standards of quality, origin, export orientation, exported products or products that meet high quality standards.
Notably, many products displayed at the fair are in the group of key export products of Hanoi city such as agricultural products including rice, dried bananas, coffee, freeze-dried fruits, fruits, cashew nuts, etc.; food including sugar, fish sauce, packaged coffee, tea, frozen canned products, rice noodles, vermicelli, bird's nest, etc.; handicrafts including ceramics, high-quality lacquerware, exported rattan and bamboo, horn products, leather products, bronze products, embroidery paintings, etc.; garment products, silk; bricks, tiles, interior equipment, etc.
In addition to the exhibition activities, this year's fair organizes a common space to introduce typical export products, a direct - online trading area (livestream), and a business connection area.
In 2025, Hanoi city aims to increase export growth by 7%. To achieve this goal, Hanoi enterprises have increased the export of Vietnamese goods to international markets. To date, Hanoi enterprises have exported goods to 205 countries and territories. Since the beginning of the year, Hanoi's export turnover has increased by 12.3% over the same period in 2024. Hanoi's main export items include agricultural products; textiles and garments; footwear and leather products; computers, electronics and components; machinery, equipment and spare parts; glass and glass products; means of transport and spare parts; phones and components; ceramics; wood and wood products... Hanoi's main export markets are ASEAN, the United States, the EU, and China.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen The Hiep said that although Hanoi's export turnover has grown remarkably, in addition to exploiting traditional markets such as ASEAN, the United States, the EU, China, Japan, etc., expanding the market to increase export turnover is the solution that businesses are aiming for. The event organized by Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade to organize the Vietnam Export Brand Fair in 2025 will help businesses connect with partners, importers, distributors, trade counselors, etc.
The fair is also an opportunity for businesses to introduce, consume products, and promote their brands to partners and consumers in Hanoi. In addition, this is also a good opportunity for people and tourists to visit and shop for Vietnamese products that have been trusted and voted by consumers.
