Naval Academy in collaboration with Political Officer School organizes scientific seminar

On June 27, the Naval Academy coordinated with the Political Officer School to organize a scientific seminar on the topic "Promoting the role of the team of intellectuals in social sciences and military humanities in protecting the ideological foundation of the Party". Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan - Political Commissar of the Naval Academy and Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Huy Hoang - Deputy Director of the Political Academy chaired the seminar. Attending the seminar were officers of the Political Officer School; officers and lecturers of the Faculty of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought and the Faculty of Party Work, Political Work, and political staff of the Naval Academy.

At the seminar, there were 10 comments focusing on discussing the responsibilities, tasks, and characteristics of the team of military social sciences and humanities intellectuals; concepts, evaluation criteria, current situation; issues raised, issues of principle, influencing factors, requirements, solutions, and recommendations to promote the role of the team of military social sciences and humanities intellectuals in protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Concluding the discussion, Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Huy Hoang assessed that the opinions presented at the discussion were comprehensive, focused, and closely linked to the characteristics of the Naval Academy in protecting the Party's ideological foundation. This is an important basis, contributing to clarifying theoretical and practical issues for the Ministry of National Defense- level Project Management Board of the Political Officer School to successfully complete its scientific research tasks.
