Naval Academy: Many activities in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week

From June 1 to 8, the Naval Academy organized activities in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week and World Oceans Day (June 8). The activities attracted a large number of cadres, lecturers, staff, students and soldiers throughout the academy to participate.

Accordingly, agencies, faculties and units throughout the academy responded and actively participated in general cleaning activities in Bach Dang Park and beach cleaning; collecting, transporting and treating waste and plastic waste in military and coastal areas, wharves; organizing competitions with many diverse forms.

In addition, the faculties organized seminars with the theme "Today's Ocean, Tomorrow's World "; integrated the content of propaganda on protecting the marine and island environment into lectures to raise awareness of responsibility for protecting the marine and island environment.

Colonel Nguyen Van Ton - Deputy Head of Politics of the Naval Academy said that the response activities aim to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of cadres, lecturers, staff, students, soldiers of the academy and people in the stationed area about environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. At the same time, it contributes to building a landscape and environment of agencies, faculties, and units that are regular, green, clean, beautiful, and practical to welcome the 21st Congress of the Naval Academy Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
