BPO - On the afternoon of June 10, Chon Thanh Customs organized the second customs-business dialogue conference in 2025 with the theme "Investment incentives and common mistakes in customs procedures".

The conference is an opportunity for Chon Thanh Customs and businesses operating in the field of import and export in the area to exchange and discuss new legal policies, especially contents related to investment incentives and problems that businesses often encounter when carrying out customs procedures.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XVI affirmed: "Organizing periodic dialogues with businesses will contribute to improving the effectiveness of state management of customs, while demonstrating the commitment to accompany and support the business community, contributing to building a transparent, favorable and effective investment and business environment."

Within the framework of the conference, customs officers presented important contents related to investment incentive policies in areas with particularly difficult economic conditions, areas with difficult economic conditions, industrial parks, economic zones... Specific incentive regimes for each type of enterprise, conditions, obligations of enterprises enjoying incentive policies... In addition, the conference also pointed out common mistakes that enterprises often encounter during the procedure process such as: not scanning complete documents, declaring incomplete quantity, not re-exporting, re-importing within the prescribed time limit, declaring incorrect origin of goods, importing goods without or with insufficient labels, errors in declaring goods name/goods code...

Business representatives discuss difficulties in implementing customs regulations

During the discussion, many businesses asked direct questions, reflecting on difficulties and problems in the process of implementing procedures... which were promptly and clearly answered by Chon Thanh Customs representatives.

Through the conference, Chon Thanh Customs affirmed that it will continue to strengthen support, guidance, and companionship with businesses. At the same time, the unit will also fully absorb the opinions, recommendations, and proposals of businesses to advise on adjusting business processes in a simpler, more transparent, and more effective direction.
