In a solemn and peaceful atmosphere, more than 5,000 monks, nuns, Buddhists and people from all over reviewed the history and meaning of Vu Lan festival and Buddhist teachings on filial piety in the family; respectfully expressed gratitude to parents for their birth, and gratitude to previous generations who contributed to building the country.
At the same time, perform rituals: chanting, offering incense, wearing roses, Vu Lan repentance and dedication to remember each person's parents; wholeheartedly turn to Buddha to pray for the peace of mind and body of the present parents, the rebirth of the deceased parents in the Pure Land, the country's stability, and world peace .
At the Dharma Assembly, there were also special and emotional art programs such as: Buddha's miraculous light, a song about the story of mother, many words I have not said, vow to be Vietnamese, golden lotus of four great graces; ....

According to Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang, Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Ninh Binh Province, Deputy Abbot of Bai Dinh Pagoda, this year's Vu Lan season not only reminds us of the two words filial piety and gratitude towards our parents, Fatherland, teachers, friends, and the masses, but also arouses the spirit of patriotism, love for the people, and always dedicating ourselves to the homeland, all for a Vietnam with rich people, strong country, fairness, democracy, civilization, soon standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
In the flow of thousands of years of culture, Vu Lan season in July has become a beautiful traditional festival of the Vietnamese people, thereby spreading the spirit of gratitude and repayment to those who have contributed to the country and demonstrating the noble morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
In Ninh Binh, this year's Vu Lan Festival is even more important as it joins in the joy of the nation, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2025). At the same time, Bai Dinh Pagoda was also honored by TripAdvisor, a world- leading prestigious travel platform, with the prestigious award: Travelers' Choice Award - Outstanding Destination with a special "green tick", proving the beauty, cultural and spiritual values and services that Bai Dinh Pagoda brings.
