Hai Lang strives to achieve advanced new rural standards

QTO - In the 2020-2025 term, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the direction and administration of the government and the consensus and active response of the people, Hai Lang commune has achieved many important results in all fields, creating a new look for the homeland.

The economy continues to maintain a stable growth rate, the economic structure shifts in the right direction. The total state budget revenue in the area in the 2021-2025 period reached 30.6 billion VND; the total development investment capital mobilized in the area in 5 years reached 4,673 billion VND.

There has been much progress in culture and society. The quality of education and training continues to be maintained and improved. Cultural, information and communication, physical education and sports activities are given attention and developed. Health care and care for people with meritorious services are given attention.

Employment, poverty reduction, and social security policies have achieved positive results. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. National defense and security have been maintained. The results achieved in the past term, together with the traditional source of the heroic homeland, will be an important driving force for Hai Lang commune to continue on its new development journey.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, the commune has set out five key tasks, namely: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; developing production and services associated with the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; mobilizing resources to invest in synchronous and modern infrastructure; promoting administrative reform, improving people's lives; maintaining national defense and security, creating a stable and favorable environment for development.

To successfully achieve the goals, the commune focuses on implementing 3 breakthroughs: Mobilizing and effectively using resources to invest in infrastructure, building a commune that meets advanced new rural standards; completing planning, developing La Vang area into a center of trade, services, and tourism; promoting administrative reform associated with digital transformation, building a modern, professional, effective and efficient government apparatus.

Hai Lang commune continues to restructure the economy towards promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, improving productivity, quality and efficiency. Agriculture is oriented towards comprehensive and sustainable development, prioritizing organic agriculture, applying high technology; forming concentrated, large-scale production areas; developing livestock according to planning, biosafety associated with disease control, environmental protection. At the same time, linking forestry economy with eco-tourism, expanding the area of FSC-certified forests and large timber forests.

In addition, the commune invests in developing industry-small industry, rural occupations according to the planning associated with the formation of satellite facilities serving the industrial park; develops diverse trade-service-tourism, exploits local advantages, especially in La Vang area and key residential areas; encourages investment in professional services, develops spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, resort tourism, aiming for the target that by 2030, the proportion of trade-service-tourism accounts for about 43.5% of the economic structure.

At the same time, complete the planning of Hai Lang commune and detailed planning; mobilize resources to invest in synchronous infrastructure associated with realizing the goal of achieving advanced new rural standards; focus on the construction of La Vang new urban area, the headquarters of the Commune Administration Center, traffic system, lighting, water supply, intra-field canals, cultural and social infrastructure; strengthen the management of resources, minerals, environmental protection, natural disaster prevention, ensuring economic development associated with sustainable environmental protection.

In the cultural and social fields, the commune focuses on improving the material and spiritual life and protecting and taking care of the people's health; doing well the work of gratitude, poverty reduction, job creation and ensuring social security; creating substantial changes in the construction and development of Hai Lang culture and people. The locality continues to maintain and improve the quality of education and training; mobilizing people to effectively implement the construction of advanced new rural areas; strengthening discipline and administrative discipline; building a creative-action-service government, urging and promptly resolving the legitimate requests and recommendations of the people and businesses...

The Party Committee, government and people of Hai Lang commune are determined to strive to successfully complete the goal of building a commune that meets advanced new rural standards before 2030, making the homeland increasingly prosperous, civilized and sustainable.
