Ha Long: Assignment, transfer and appointment of many officials

On August 26, Ha Long City held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on personnel work. Many key officials of the city's departments, offices, units and localities were mobilized, rotated and appointed during this period.

At the conference, the leaders of the Ha Long City Party Committee presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the transfer and rotation of officials: Appointing comrade Bui Thi Huyen Trang, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the City Party Committee Office; comrade Vu Mac Ha, Deputy Chief of the City Party Committee Office, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh Commune, term 2020-2025; comrade Tran Van Tuyen, Head of the Ha Long I Market Management Board, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Dan Commune, term 2020-2025; comrade Ho Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Dan Commune, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Bach Dang Ward, term 2020-2025; comrade Nguyen Duc Phu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Trung Ward, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thong Nhat Commune, term 2020-2025.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee decided to stop the model of Party Secretary concurrently being Chairman of the People's Committee of Thong Nhat commune, and introduced comrade Pham Van Luyen to the People's Council of Thong Nhat commune to relieve him from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thong Nhat commune, term 2021-2026.

On the same day, the leaders of the City People's Committee also presented the decision to receive and appoint comrade Nguyen Vu Hai, member of the City Party Committee, Head of the Urban Management Department, to hold the position of Head of the City Urban Order and Environment Inspection Team; comrade Pham Duc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Dang Ward, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Economic Department; comrade Bui Ngoc Thao, Head of the Urban Order and Environment Inspection Team, to hold the position of Head of the Ha Long I Market Management Board; comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the City People's Council, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the City People's Council - People's Committee.

Since the beginning of 2020, immediately after merging Hoanh Bo district, Ha Long city has regularly reviewed, arranged, and organized staff and appointed officials through examinations and project defense combined with taking a vote of confidence.

Accordingly, the city has appointed management officials through examinations for 22 positions; proposed to plan 51 cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; decided to plan 2,009 cadres under the management of the City Party Committee Standing Committee; and arranged work for 6 cadres under the management of the City Party Committee Standing Committee after being disciplined. Thereby, it aims to strengthen, innovate, and streamline the organization and apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently.
