As the launch of the iPhone 17 series approaches, a series of detailed information about the design and configuration of the device appears more and more densely on social networks. On August 3, some new images said to be the battery and test prototype of the iPhone 17 Pro were widely circulated, attracting attention from the technology world.

According to leaked images, the iPhone 17 Pro seems to use an L-shaped battery with a metal shell, instead of a traditional cover. This is to increase heat dissipation efficiency during use. Notably, there are 2 battery versions. The version for the US market has a larger capacity, while the international version integrates a physical SIM slot in the lower right corner, which narrows the space for the battery.

In addition to the battery, some netizens also shared photos of what is believed to be an iPhone 17 Pro prototype being tested outdoors. In the photo, a person wearing sunglasses holds two devices, an iPhone 16 Pro and a similar-looking device with a horizontally arranged rear camera cluster, matching the previously leaked design of the iPhone 17 Pro.

According to some sources, the iPhone 17 Pro will have a 3-camera system on the back, arranged in a horizontal matrix. Of which, the 3 lenses are on the left, while the flash and LiDAR sensor are arranged on the right. The main camera and the super wide angle keep the resolution of 48 MP. This year, the telephoto camera is likely to be upgraded to 48 MP, promising to significantly improve the quality of zoom photos. The front camera also has a big improvement when upgraded to 24 MP, serving the needs of high-quality video calling and selfies.

In terms of performance, Apple's high-end smartphone is equipped with the A19 Pro chip, which continues to be manufactured on TSMC's 3nm process but has an optimized architecture to save energy. The iPhone 17 Pro is also the first model of the Pro line to have a 6.3-inch screen, larger than the previous 6.1-inch standard.

The device is expected to come pre-installed with iOS 26 when it is released, with a completely new "liquid glass" interface that Apple hopes will revolutionize the visual experience, similar to the transformation of iOS 7 in 2013.

The iPhone 17 Pro will come in four color options: saturated orange, classic silver, titanium gray, and dark blue. Apple is expected to introduce the new generation of phones next September.
