Help students confidently "pass the imperial examination"

With the slogan "Adding luck - Overcoming thousands of obstacles", the Pencil Squad - the online "Supporting exam season" team has reappeared on the fanpage "Supporting exam season - Dak Lak " since the beginning of April 2025.

To promptly support candidates participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in terms of physical, mental, knowledge and equipping them with necessary skills before entering the important exam, "Pencil Squad" continues to release useful weekly series.

In particular, the series "Review for high scores" introduces to candidates the "secrets" of exam preparation "experts" such as: "Learning Literature in practice" with Ms. Trieu Nguyen Huyen Trang - Lecturer of International Communication, Diplomatic Academy; "Not afraid of Math" with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - who is considered a "mindmap master", using the mind map method for Math; "Review English" with "Pencil Squad" with special support from members of the Dak Lak Province English Club.

With the series "Good health, perfect score", "Pencil Squad" gives suggestions on some nutritious foods, things to do and avoid for effective exam preparation, and effective solutions to have a strong spirit before entering an important exam.

This year, the program also opened the series "Tiktalk with Pencil Squad", through which contestants have the opportunity to meet and chat with people with "huge" achievements studying at universities across the country and have more options to build a more effective review path as well as more motivation in the journey to conquer their aspirations.

In addition, the series “A day as a student” with a series of videos providing real-life experiences in a new environment - where candidates will “try out” a day at universities across the country, from lecture halls, dormitories, libraries to student life, extracurricular activities are also very attractive, attracting a lot of attention from candidates.

Head of the provincial "Exam Support" team Le Thai Khanh Huyen shared: "With the form of completely online activities, the provincial volunteer team has created a "Pencil Squad" to support candidates anytime, anywhere, from consulting on choosing wishes, answering admission information, to sharing study tips, and encouraging spirit. Whenever you need, we will always be there to listen, share, and help you confidently enter the exam with the best spirit".

A week before the exam, to help candidates have more strength to overcome difficulties and challenges in the upcoming sprint, the Provincial Youth Union organized an online exam room consultation program with the theme "What to do to have a high school graduation exam with high results?". Thereby, candidates met with Dr. Huynh Anh Binh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Career Guidance Center, to receive advice and answer questions about health issues during the exam season; orientation in choosing a university entrance exam major; and preparation for a stable mentality to achieve the highest results in the exam. At the same time, teachers in the exam room psychology consultation board also shared necessary information about the exam, guiding candidates on how to handle unexpected situations during this year's exam.

In order to promptly accompany the candidates, the program "Supporting the exam season" this year continues to be widely implemented by the Provincial Youth Union with many new, creative and effective points.

Accordingly, in addition to the series of "Online Volunteering" activities organized before the exam, the provincial Youth Union chapters mobilized students studying at universities and colleges; union members and youth from communes, wards and towns; students in grades 10 and 11 of high schools and volunteer clubs... thereby establishing 45 volunteer teams with over 1,350 volunteers to support and assist candidates and their families.

During the peak days of the exam (June 25-27), volunteer teams were on duty at 33 exam sites, coordinating with functional forces to support candidates and their families through activities such as: guiding exam rooms, keeping luggage, providing medical support, coordinating to ensure traffic safety, security and order at exam sites, distributing "Supporting exam season" handbooks and essential items, picking up and dropping off candidates, cooking and serving free meals, handling unusual incidents related to weather, accidents, health, etc. Particularly for students from poor households, in difficult circumstances, and with disabilities, the teams surveyed their needs and assigned tasks to members to have specific support plans.

In addition, the program will organize a communication campaign "Gen Z takes exams" on various social networking platforms, thereby sharing stories related to the exam atmosphere, livestreaming test solutions, and sharing answers after the exams are over.
