The family of Ms. Phan Thi Thu Thuy is one of the typical cultural families of My Khanh village. She and her husband not only take good care of their three-generation family, but also actively participate in the Cultural Family Club of the village. The family's house is where club members regularly meet, share experiences in taking care of the family and maintaining a harmonious lifestyle in the village.
"The families in the club are very united, everyone tries to keep their own home warm, but when there is work, they are always willing to help each other. For example, when producing rice or growing chili, because it is in the countryside, one family helps another family," said Ms. Thu Thuy.
Established in 2018, My Khanh Village Cultural Family Club initially had only a few families participating but now has more than 40 members. Not only sharing stories about economic development, child rearing, and health care, families also participate in cultural and artistic activities, creating a vibrant and cohesive community life.
Mr. Nguyen Vinh, Head of the My Khanh Village Cultural Family Club, shared: " There is always a spirit of creating conditions to help each other. Those who have experience are willing to support those who come after. Up to this point, it must be said that no one in the club is in particularly difficult circumstances anymore. It can be said that frankly. Thanks to the consensus and mutual support, everyone has gradually stabilized their economy, many households have even risen to become well-off."
With its positive contributions to building grassroots cultural life, the Club has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. More and more households in the village are registering to join the club.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, Secretary of the Party Cell of My Khanh Village, Thang Loi Commune, Mo Duc, said: " From the internal changes in each family, gradually forming a connection between dozens of households, then the whole residential area. The club contributes to creating spiritual strength for the whole village, especially the spirit of solidarity. Not only stopping within the scope of the club, but also spreading to other associations and organizations in the village".
From the roofs of decent houses, a village tradition of love has been preserved. And in My Khanh village, that story is still maintained every day.
