In 2023, the complicated developments in the world and the region, the impact of post-COVID-19 are major issues for all countries, international organizations and foreign NGOs. In that context, the work of foreign NGOs continues to be given importance by the Party and State.

There are currently 381 foreign NGOs operating in Vietnam. In 2023, the value of aid disbursed by foreign NGOs to Vietnam will reach more than 228.7 million USD, an increase of 4.9 million USD compared to 2022.

The implementation of activities of foreign NGOs contributes greatly to foreign affairs, especially people-to-people diplomacy. It demonstrates the support and cooperation of international partners and friends for efforts in national development.

The conference spent a lot of time discussing and agreeing that foreign PCP work in 2024 will face many opportunities and advantages but also many difficulties and challenges.

Therefore, in the coming time, ministries, branches and localities will continue to strengthen state management of foreign NGO activities, regularly exchange information and closely coordinate between local and central agencies in managing and supervising foreign NGO activities and aid to ensure security - political and foreign affairs requirements, serving socio-economic development.

Innovate the direction and form of aid mobilization, diversify partners and aid sources, link aid mobilization with political and diplomatic mobilization; promote in-depth cooperation and protect Vietnam's interests.
