Gasoline price decreased by more than 200 VND/liter, diesel decreased by more than 700 VND/liter

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND254/liter, not higher than VND19,354/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by VND190/liter, not higher than VND19,884/liter.

Gasoline prices have decreased across the board since this afternoon, August 14.

Prices of all types of oil also decreased simultaneously: Diesel oil decreased by 723 VND/liter, not higher than 18,077 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 640 VND/liter, not higher than 18,020 VND/liter and fuel oil price decreased by 379 VND/kg, not higher than 15,268 VND/kg.

In this operating period, the management agency continues to not set aside or spend the gasoline price stabilization fund.

According to the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this management period (from August 7 to August 13) is affected by main factors such as: The US postpones the application of higher tax policies on imported goods from China; The US President and the Russian President are expected to meet to discuss ending the conflict in Ukraine; OPEC+ decides to increase oil production in September...

The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to have a general downward trend.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on August 7 and the adjustment period on August 14 was: 77.030 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 1.478 USD/barrel); 79.142 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 1.056 USD/barrel); 83.924 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 3.692 USD/barrel); 84.716 USD/barrel of diesel oil (down 4.152 USD/barrel); 407.194 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 13.608 USD/ton).

Previously, in the operating period on August 7, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 207 VND/liter, not higher than 19,608 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 234 VND/liter, not higher than 20,074 VND/liter.

Diesel price decreased by 268 VND/liter, not higher than 19,068 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 54 VND/liter, not higher than 18,660 VND/liter. Fuel oil price increased by 114 VND/kg, not higher than 15,647 VND/kg.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have gone through 32 adjustment sessions, of which 13 decreased, 14 increased and 5 were mixed.
