In the Central Highlands: Ri6 durian type A ranges from 43,000 - 45,000 VND/kg, type B is at 30,000 - 32,000 VND/kg, type C is negotiable. Thai type A remains at 77,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, type B is from 57,000 - 60,000 VND/kg, type C is priced from 40,000 - 43,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has requested relevant units to strengthen management of production, preliminary processing, processing and consumption of durian products; in particular, advising people not to cut down other crops to plant new durian trees.
In 2024, Lam Dong province plans to develop key fruit trees associated with brand building, targeting the export market in the 2024-2030 period.

Notably, the target is about 10,000 hectares of fruit trees are granted growing area codes and about 30 facilities are granted packaging facility codes, the rate of processed fruit is 30% of total output (about 190,000 tons), fruit export turnover reaches over 200 million USD.
In particular, Lam Dong province aims to have a durian area of 25,800 hectares in the province by 2030 with an output of 270,535 tons.
The main production areas are in Di Linh, Da Huoai, Bao Lam, Dam Rong, Da Teh, Lam Ha, Cat Tien districts and scattered in Lac Duong, Don Duong, Duc Trong districts and Bao Loc city.
However, according to the agricultural sector, some localities such as Di Linh and Bao Lam districts have durian cultivation areas that have exceeded the planned area by 2030.
