Pi price on OKX exchange on June 11, 2025 is fluctuating around the price range from 0.6338 USD to 0.647 USD (equivalent to 16,500 VND to 16,830 VND). Thus, at the time of writing, Pi price on OKX exchange increased by 1% compared to yesterday, reaching 16,680 VND
Over the past 30 days, Pi Network price has experienced a sharp downtrend, losing more than 40% of its value and its market capitalization falling below $5 billion. Technical indicators such as Ichimoku, BBTrend, and EMA all show that selling pressure is dominant. In particular, the BBTrend indicator is currently at -2.21, although it has stopped falling in the past two days, it is still in negative territory.
The lowest level of this indicator was -18.7, recorded a week ago. BBTrend reflects price trends based on Bollinger Bands, with negative values indicating strong selling pressure, while positive values show dominant buying pressure. With no breakthrough of important resistance levels, Pi Network is still vulnerable to new fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market.
ETH Uptrend Strength
Ethereum's Directional Movement Index (DMI) shows a clear increase in trend strength. The Average Directional Index (ADX), which measures the strength of a trend regardless of direction, has increased from 11.58 to 24.77 in just one day. An ADX below 20 typically signals a weak or trendless market, while a value above 25 indicates a strong trend. With the current ADX level, Ethereum is approaching this important level, signaling bullish momentum and the possibility of a clearer trend forming.
Supporting this trend, the +DI (Positive Directional Indicator) rose sharply from 18.17 to 44.07, indicating that buying pressure is dominant. On the contrary, the -DI (Negative Directional Indicator) fell from 23.92 to 12, indicating that selling pressure is waning. The widening gap between +DI and -DI shows that buyers are gradually taking control of the market.
Dual Pricing Model: Economic Experiment or Mirage?
Pi Network stands out for its unique dual pricing model, which includes a global consensus value (GCV) of $314,159 per PI – a symbolic figure, and a market price that fluctuates around $0.6–$0.64. The massive gap of more than 500,000 times between these two prices has caused much controversy. Some have questioned the sustainability of the model, while supporters see GCV as a symbol of the unique trust and value of the Pi ecosystem. A user named Lumari shared: “GCV does not reflect the market price, but rather the trust that the community has built.”
To control risk, some investors like Mr. Spock propose to limit access to the ecosystem to wallets that have completed KYC and integrate GCV into smart contracts. In fact, in some communities in Thailand and Vietnam, GCV has been used as an unofficial price standard for exchanging goods and services. The Pi Core Team also demonstrates its transparency efforts by encoding GCV in smart contracts and publishing them on GitHub.
Pi Network Price Trend Forecast in the Future
Despite not being recognized by major exchanges, the GCV movement is still growing based on community trust and the desire for financial freedom. However, the current price trend shows that Pi has not shown clear signs of recovery, and technical instability continues to worry investors. Pi Network may be a bold economic experiment, opening up a new direction, but it also has potential risks when the value is mainly based on trust rather than reality. The future of Pi remains an open question, with endless debate.
