Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Gia Lam District Labor Federation Nguyen Duc The emphasized that the emulation movement "Capital Innovation and Creativity" launched by the District Labor Federation continued to receive strong support from grassroots unions. In 2025, the district had 2,862 initiatives recognized at the grassroots level; of which 1,070 initiatives came from schools and 1,065 initiatives were recognized at the district level.
Many initiatives are highly applicable, bringing practical efficiency in production and teaching, helping to save from 2 to more than 8 billion VND per year. Typical examples include: Engineer Nguyen Quang Hien, Lixil Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the topic "Improving water tank accessories for INAX toilets" which has benefited the Company 2.4 billion VND/year; Mr. Nguyen Quang Hai, Stanley Vietnam Electric Co., Ltd. with the topic "Using G-777 grease to replace the adhesive to conduct heat between the LED circuit board and the aluminum heat sink", which has benefited the Company 1.4 billion VND; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Du and his colleagues, Lixil Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the topic "Improving the formula for mixing casting paste" which has benefited the Company 8.4 billion VND; teacher Do Thi Hoang Mai, Agricultural Primary School with the topic "Applying artificial intelligence to improve productivity and work efficiency for teachers"; Teacher Nguyen Thi Huong Lien, Duong Xa Primary School with the topic "Some measures to develop digital capacity for primary school students through the application of E-learning lectures"...
The work of building cultural families continues to be effectively implemented by the district's Trade Union at all levels, through many propaganda activities, seminars, forums and holidays throughout the year. In 2025, the whole district will have 72 "Outstanding families of workers, civil servants and laborers" to be recognized, which are exemplary families in production and labor, building a cultural life and raising obedient and studious children.
In the 2024-2025 school year, theEducation Sector's grassroots trade union has effectively implemented many emulation movements, such as: "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning", "Happy school", "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity"...
In recognition of their positive contributions to the Trade Union's activities, at the conference, many collectives and individuals of Gia Lam district were commended, including: The Trade Union of Trau Quy Town Primary School was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Hanoi City Labor Federation; 3 collectives and 6 individuals were commended by the City Labor Federation; 12 collectives and 16 individuals were commended by the District Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year; 43 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Capital Initiative and Creativity" were commended and commended.
Gia Lam District Labor Federation also honored 72 exemplary families of workers, civil servants, and laborers; honored 8 students with high achievements in city and national excellent student competitions and 26 students who are children of workers, civil servants, and laborers with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.
Recognizing, praising and spreading typical examples in labor, creativity and building cultural families affirms the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying the development of Gia Lam district. This conference is also a meaningful activity before the Gia Lam District Labor Federation ends its historical mission on June 30, 2025. The good values left by the organization are a solid foundation for the Trade Union at all levels to continue to promote in the new period.
