According to a report from Thanh Hoa Electricity Company, heavy rain and thunderstorms last night (July 19) caused problems with the medium and low voltage power grid in many areas of the province, disrupting power supply to more than 82,000 customers.

The heavily affected localities include Bim Son - Ha Trung (old) area, Hoang Hoa, Cam Tan, Thanh Vinh, Ngoc Trao, Thach Quang...

Immediately after the incident, power management teams urgently deployed a solution, prioritizing the restoration of power to residential areas, hospitals, schools and important production facilities.

The Bim Son - Ha Trung Power Management Team fixes problems caused by storms on the night of July 19.

As of 7:00 a.m. on July 20, 7,577 customers were still waiting for power to be restored. The medium-voltage grid had problems at 21 locations, with 2 medium-voltage lines and 5 power poles broken. In addition, some low-voltage poles were eroded, tilted and cracked. The estimated damage was about 880 million VND.

Thanh Hoa Electricity Company expects that by 4:00 p.m. on July 20, all incidents will be resolved, restoring the original wiring method to restore power to all customers.
