Nong Cong district organized a training conference to foster legal knowledge and professional skills for grassroots mediators in 2025.
Implementing Conclusion No. 80-KL/TW dated June 20, 2020 of the Secretariat on "Continuing to implement Directive No. 32-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in legal dissemination and education, raising awareness of law observance among cadres and people" and implementing the Law on Legal Dissemination and Education, in recent years, Nong Cong district has always paid attention to improving the quality of human resources doing legal dissemination and education work. Accordingly, the district has focused on leading and directing departments, offices, agencies, units and 29 communes and towns to proactively review, consolidate and improve the team of cadres and civil servants doing legal dissemination and education work, in order to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation. Currently, the District Legal Dissemination and Education Coordination Council has 30 members who are representatives of the leaders of departments, offices and political organizations; 27 district-level legal reporters and a team of legal propagandists of 29 communes and towns. With a team of cadres and civil servants working in legal dissemination and education with political courage, professional qualifications, and the ability to convey legal knowledge, the quality and effectiveness of legal dissemination and education in Nong Cong district have been improved.
In order for the newly promulgated laws to permeate deeply into life, every year the district has proactively developed a plan for legal dissemination and mediation at the grassroots level and communes that meet legal access standards in the area. At the same time, it guides communes, towns, agencies and units to effectively implement legal dissemination and mediation work. In 2024, the district has directed the District Legal Dissemination and Coordination Council to focus on guiding and organizing the implementation of contents according to the issued plan for legal dissemination and mediation at the grassroots level and communes that meet legal access standards. By applying many methods of propaganda and legal dissemination suitable for each target and locality, Nong Cong district has ensured that legal knowledge is brought to cadres, civil servants, public employees, party members and people of all walks of life. Specifically, in 2024, the district organized conferences to foster legal knowledge on grassroots mediation; Law on Marriage and Family for 332 delegates; Training on systematization of legal documents for 253 delegates who are officials and civil servants of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district, members of the committees of the People's Council of the district, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, judicial - civil status officials, statistical offices of the People's Committees of communes and towns; training on newly issued laws of the 15th National Assembly , including: Law on Inspection; Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level; Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence, Law on Bidding; Law on Cooperatives for 283 delegates who are leaders of departments, offices, political organizations at the district level and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Women's Union, heads of People's Inspectorate, judicial - civil status officials, cultural officials of communes and towns.
In addition, the district has also strengthened legal dissemination and education through the compilation and publication of legal documents. In the past year, the district has distributed 4,560 legal dissemination and education documents; distributed 1,280 legal leaflets and brochures to cadres, civil servants, public employees and people of all walks of life in the area. More notably, the district has also promoted legal dissemination and education through legal advice and legal aid.
Dissemination of legal documents and dissemination of new legal documents are also carried out by Nong Cong district through the grassroots radio system. Through the signing of a cooperation program with the district's Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism, specialized pages and columns such as: Legal Q&A, Law and Life have been published periodically every week on the grassroots radio system. In addition, the district continues to pay attention to directing, guiding, building, managing and effectively exploiting the legal bookcase and considers this as one of the channels for disseminating and disseminating legal documents to all classes of people. Based on the guidance of the Ministry of Justice on the construction, management and exploitation of legal bookcases, every year, the district regularly directs the Department of Justice to review, consolidate and supplement books for the legal bookcases at the grassroots level. By 2024, legal bookcases in 29 communes and towns will be equipped with 150 - 200 books of various types to serve the people's learning and searching for legal information.
Through various forms of propaganda and legal dissemination, all Party guidelines and State policies and laws have been fully conveyed, contributing to raising awareness and spreading the spirit of respect for the Constitution and the law among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life. Thanks to the increasingly effective quality and effectiveness of legal dissemination in the district, it has actively contributed to maintaining security and order, reducing law violations and creating a stable environment for local socio-economic development.
