(NLDO) - SSI Securities, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, achieved margin lending balance of more than VND 21,800 billion, an increase of nearly 49% compared to the end of 2023.
SSI Securities Corporation (SSI Securities) has just announced its separate financial report for the fourth quarter of 2024 with positive results.
Accordingly, total revenue and profit before tax (PBT) reached VND2,078 billion and VND475 billion. SSI Securities estimated consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter at VND2,259 billion and PBT at VND547 billion. Accumulated in 2024, the company is estimated to achieve total consolidated revenue of VND8,704 billion, PBT of VND3,536 billion, completing 107% and 104% of the plan approved by the 2024 shareholders' meeting, respectively.
As of December 31, 2024, the parent company had total assets of VND 72,539 billion and equity of VND 25,967 billion, up 5.9% and 15% respectively compared to the end of 2023. Accumulated over the last 4 quarters, the return on equity (ROE) and return on total assets (ROA) at the end of the fourth quarter were 9.6% and 3.4% respectively.
The business results of SSI's main business segments in the fourth quarter showed that the securities services segment recorded revenue of more than VND904 billion, accounting for 43.5% of total revenue. Brokerage, custody, investment consulting and other services recorded revenue of VND334 billion, down 14% over the same period. Market liquidity in the fourth quarter decreased by more than 30% compared to the first 9 months of the year.
SSI Securities' market share of stock, fund certificates and covered warrants brokerage at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) in the fourth quarter improved to 9.19%, up 0.35 percentage points compared to the previous quarter, continuing to maintain its position in the top 2 of the market. In the whole year of 2024, brokerage, custody and investment consulting recorded revenue of VND 1,727 billion, up 10.3% over the same period.

Notably, margin lending and sales advances achieved revenue of nearly VND 571 billion, up 30% over the same period. SSI's margin lending balance reached more than VND 21,800 billion, up 48.7% compared to the end of 2023. Accumulated for the whole year, SSI achieved VND 2,079 billion in margin lending revenue, up 32.6% over the same period...
