Vietnam's coastal scenery is an ideal destination for those who love nature and choose green tourism.

From peaceful coastal fishing villages to quiet ancient streets or rolling mountains, Vietnam is increasingly becoming an ideal destination for travelers who love green experiences. According to statistics from Booking.com - one of the world's leading travel service platforms - up to 99% of Vietnamese travelers want to make sustainable travel choices . Of these, 83% have proactively changed their travel behavior and habits to realize the goal of being environmentally friendly.

In Dong Dak Lak, a coastal area of the old Phu Yen, Lo fishing village is considered a typical model of tourism combining healing and ecology. Not only standing out with its natural landscape, this place also impresses visitors with its rare volcanic sea sand , with large, round, smooth grains and a characteristic red-yellow color, only appearing on the coastline from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. In the summer, local people often dig sand holes and apply "sand sauna" therapy - covering the body with hot sand as a form of natural relaxation, stimulating acupuncture points and supporting health recovery.

Ms. Vu Thi Thu Ha - a local resident said: "The most effective way to apply sand is when the sun is up, the sand is warm enough, creating an effect similar to a sauna and massage. You should not apply sand when it is still dark or after sunset, when the sand has cooled."

Locals and tourists join hands to keep the beach clean and beautiful through regular trash collection activities.

Grasping the increasing demand for relaxation combined with therapy, many localities have developed a tourism model oriented towards healing. At the Happiness Station Project (Eastern Dak Lak), groups of guests including families, the elderly, people recovering from illness... are exposed to a green lifestyle through a healthy diet , not using plastic bags , and participating in activities close to nature.

From coastal villages to ancient villages, Vietnamese destinations are transforming into models of sustainable tourism.

According to Ms. Huynh Nhu Quynh , Project Director: "We build connections with local organic agricultural products floors, encourage green farming thinking and environmental protection orientation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions."

Visitors can experience local life through traditional agricultural and fishing activities.

Not only stopping at services, community models in coastal villages are also demonstrating responsibility for the living environment. In Lo village, Hoa Hiep ward (Eastern Dak Lak) , residents and tourists join together to organize groups to collect trash to keep the beach clean and beautiful.

Mr. Luu Ba Duoc , representative of Hoa Hiep ward, shared: "The garbage collection team has been established for many years, mainly consisting of local children and some volunteer tourists. Every three days without garbage collection, the beach is covered with garbage again. We have to mobilize forces continuously. We hope that people and tourists will join hands to keep the environment clean."

Sustainable tourism is not only a trend, but also the responsibility of the community and each traveler.

From improving agricultural farming models, encouraging tourism combined with cultural identity, to promoting green consumption habits, Vietnam's coastal destinations are strongly transforming to become models of sustainable tourism . Tourists come not only to enjoy, but also to contribute to preserving natural values and local communities - the things that make up the true identity of a meaningful journey.
