General future trends
Global pepper prices are forecast to have positive changes in the second half of 2025. Although the market is currently in a "pause" phase due to factors such as complicated tax policies and delayed purchasing psychology, demand for additional inventory from major markets, especially the US, is expected to increase strongly again.
According to VPSA, demand for pepper has been "compressed" in the first half of the year, and importers will be forced to return to the market to supplement supply. This is expected to help pepper prices increase again and the market will gradually improve in the coming time.
