After a trial period of operating the two-level e-government model, Dong Nai province said that civil servants at all levels have initially become familiar with the shared information system and handled administrative procedures electronically. However, some difficulties have arisen because the system currently only operates within the province and cannot connect data with central ministries and branches.
According to Mr. Ta Quang Truong - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, the software for handling administrative procedures is being deployed to 95 communes and wards, including Binh Phuoc province, with functions such as issuing electronic identification codes, registering tax codes, electronic receipts, specialized collection accounts and HSM digital signatures. From July 1, all administrative procedures at the commune and ward level will be performed using shared software.

However, the system is currently unable to connect with some national databases.
Currently, Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology is coordinating with the Ministry of Justice and Department C06 (Ministry of Public Security) to adjust technical APIs to connect the province's shared software system with the National Public Service Portal and the Civil Status Management System. It is expected that by June 26, the entire connection will be completed for official operation from July 1.
Dong Nai also recommended that central ministries and branches promptly announce, update and adjust administrative procedures in specialized fields to integrate into the shared system, helping localities effectively resolve people's requests according to the e-government model.
