Dong Nai officially approved the investment project to build Ma Da bridge

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 585/QD-UBND approving the investment project to build Ma Da Bridge, a bridge connecting the old Dong Nai province and the old Binh Phuoc province.

According to the Approval Decision, the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project has its starting point intersecting with Provincial Road 753, its end point connecting with the route from Ma Da Bridge to Ring Road 4 (HCMC), in the areas of Tan Loi and Tri An communes of Dong Nai province.

The project is divided into phase 1 investment, with a cross-section of 20.5 m wide with 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles, with a median strip, railings, and a design speed of 80 km/h.

The approach road to the bridge is invested in construction with a road surface width of 4 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for non-motorized vehicles on both sides, a median strip and other related auxiliary works.

The Ma Da bridge construction investment project has a total investment of more than 133 billion VND from the budget of Dong Nai province.

Phase I of the project is divided into investment phases from 2025-2027. The completion phase will be studied for investment after evaluating the investment efficiency of phase I.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor to implement the Project.

The construction of Ma Da Bridge and connecting roads plays an important role in strengthening the connection between the Central Highlands region and Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port.

The Ma Da bridge project, once completed, will promote the development of logistics infrastructure, providing convenient connections to industrial parks in Dong Nai province after the merger.
