Dong Hoa firmly steps into the new term

The 2020 - 2025 term took place in a difficult context such as strong market fluctuations, high prices of raw materials and goods, and the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic that severely affected production and people's lives. However, with the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity, the Party Committee and people of Dong Hoa commune strived to overcome challenges and successfully implemented many targets set out in the resolution.

Notably, the agricultural sector continues to play a key role in the economic growth of the commune. The total aquaculture area reaches 33,996 hectares, equal to 100% of the resolution target. The output of aquaculture and fisheries by 2025 is estimated at 20,945 tons, reaching 110.83% of the target. The average income per capita by the end of 2025 is expected to reach 76 million VND, an increase of 24 million VND compared to the beginning of the term and reaching 100% of the resolution target.

In particular, in 2021, Dong Hoa commune was recognized as meeting new rural standards. Up to now, the commune continues to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, the rural traffic infrastructure system has been invested synchronously. The fields of culture, education , and health continue to develop, security and order are ensured.

- Comrade Le Ngoc Tung: To achieve the above results, Dong Hoa Commune Party Committee drew 4 major lessons including:

Firstly, promoting the comprehensive leadership role of the Party. The commune Party Committee always attaches importance to the work of Party building and rectification, promoting the strength of the entire political system according to the motto "close to the people, close to the people, serving the people well". Special attention is paid to building a team of clean and strong cadres and Party members with sufficient capacity to lead and organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies.

Second, implement well the democratic regulations at the grassroots level. Decisions related to the interests of the people are discussed thoroughly, publicly and transparently, thereby mobilizing active participation and creating high consensus in implementing socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks.

Third, choose the right breakthrough. The commune boldly changes the economic structure, develops trade and services, promotes OCOP products, and effectively utilizes local advantages.

Fourth, identify the People as the main subject and key driving force. The consensus and cooperation of the People are the decisive factors in achieving great achievements in the past term.

- Comrade Le Ngoc Tung: In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee and the People of Dong Hoa commune will continue to act according to the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Creativity - Development". In particular, the focus is on economic development towards concentrated commodity production, increasing the value of agricultural production associated with maintaining and improving the quality of new rural areas. Strive to reach 105 million VND per capita income by 2030; the poverty rate will decrease below 0.5%. Party building and the political system are still key tasks. The Party Committee focuses on developing clean and strong grassroots party organizations, maintaining discipline, developing new party members, especially among young people and good farmers and businessmen. At the same time, continue to seriously implement Resolution of the 13th Central Committee, Session 4, in conjunction with Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
