Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan is a revolutionary, awarded the Second Class Resistance Medal for her many contributions in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Her husband died early, the family's circumstances were difficult, for many years she had to live in a dilapidated house but had no conditions to build a new one. Thanks to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the province, Ms. Lan's family was supported to rebuild their house. After 3 months of construction, the spacious house of over 70 square meters was completed to the joy of the family and neighbors.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia presented 100 million VND to support Ms. Lan's family; at the same time, he kindly visited, encouraged and wished Ms. Lan and her family good health; continued to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies. He affirmed that in recent years Hung Yen province always pays attention to and performs well the social security work, in which the financial support to eliminate dilapidated houses is one of the outstanding activities, focused on by all levels and sectors, and at the same time receives the participation and support of many organizations, individuals, and businesses inside and outside the province.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention to and carry out well the work of "Repaying gratitude" as well as social security work to improve people's lives.
Previously, the local government supported Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan with 32 million VND to help her complete her house and buy more household items.
