In the history of modern warfare, Iran's retaliation by launching hundreds of missiles at Israel at the same time was the first time. The scale of this attack was equivalent to hitting the heart of the Iranian military, forcing Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei to declare: "The Israeli regime must be completely destroyed." The Iranian General Staff then declared: "Israel has crossed all red lines, and now Tehran has no limits for retaliatory attacks."
Iran's retaliation is not the end, but the beginning of a bigger storm. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said: "If Iran crosses the red line, our counterattack will be more fierce." Currently, two US Burke-class destroyers have entered the Mediterranean to support Israel in intercepting missiles.
