Immediately after receiving the news, Co To Border Guard Station mobilized a 500CV motorboat, 4 officers, soldiers and 1 doctor from Co To Special Zone Medical Center to organize rescue. At around 11:00 a.m. the same day, the rescue team reached the victim and brought him to Bach Long Vi Island (Hai Phong City), coordinating with Bach Long Vi Border Guard Station and local medical staff to provide first aid, initially stabilizing the victim's health condition.
At 11:45, the victim's health was temporarily stable, the working group and family continued to bring him back to the mainland. At 14:25, the victim was taken to Vung Duc port (Cam Pha ward) and transferred to Cam Pha General Hospital for emergency treatment. Clinical examination determined that the victim had suffered a serious stroke. Currently, the victim's health is temporarily stable and is being monitored.
The timely deployment of rescue forces and equipment demonstrated the sense of responsibility and dedication of officers and soldiers of Co To Border Guard Station in their duty to protect sovereignty , safety at sea and care for the lives of fishermen.
