The Vietnamese women's team only had difficulty in set 3.

In this match, the Vietnamese girls are rated higher but we cannot be subjective because the Philippines caused a lot of difficulties for the defending champions Thailand on the opening day.

Competing against the Philippines, the Vietnamese women's team welcomed the return of opposite setter Bich Tuyen alongside main attacker Nguyen Thi Uyen.

Along with Thanh Thuy, Lam Oanh, Bich Thuy and Khanh Dang, this is considered the best lineup of the Vietnamese women's team at the present time.

With the best force, the Vietnamese girls did not have much difficulty winning 25-13 in set 1.

In set 2, although facing some difficulties at the beginning, Thanh Thuy and her teammates knew how to overcome them to win 25-21.

Despite a good start and leading by 4 to 5 points at the beginning of set 3, the lack of concentration in the later stages (in addition to Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen not being on the field) caused the Vietnamese women's team to lose 23-25.

However, with the encouragement of the coaching staff and determination, the Vietnamese girls came back strongly in set 4 and won with a difference of 25-9.

Defeating the Philippines 3-1 (25-13, 25-21, 23-25, 25-9), the Vietnamese women's team had their second consecutive victory at SEA V.League 2025.

With 2 wins, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have secured the silver medal.

On August 3, the Vietnamese girls will compete in the "final match" in the last round with the defending champions Thailand.
