Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi also shared about Vietnam's outstanding events in 2025, such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. He requested that the Cuban Journalists Association and press agencies pay attention to reporting on these events through information exchange and bilateral cooperation...

The leaders of the Cuban Journalists Association agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, especially the Cuban side is willing to publish valuable documents, books and newspapers of Vietnam in Spanish; send delegations to visit and exchange experiences in journalism activities... The leaders of the Cuban Journalists Association also thanked the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association for participating in the conference and making important statements, attracting the attention of delegates to this conference.

In the afternoon of the same day, in the discussion session before the conference summary, Dr. Dinh Quynh Anh, Professional Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association participated in the discussion with the title: "Media manipulation in the digital transformation era and response strategies".

Dr. Quynh Anh informed: With the rapid development of technology and advanced applications of artificial intelligence, fake news has transformed into sophisticated products that are difficult to distinguish from the truth, from videos, Deepfake simulating famous people to articles produced by AI.

More importantly, fake, untrue, and distorted news appeals to users' curiosity, so it spreads rapidly on social networks, causing serious consequences.

Therefore, identifying and dealing with fake news is not only the responsibility of journalists and press organizations but also of the whole society.

Only through close cooperation among stakeholders can we protect the truth, maintain trust and build a healthy information and press environment...

On this occasion, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi presented gifts to the Cuban Journalists Association; Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Truong Duc Minh Tu presented gifts to Granma Newspaper.
