15-day suspension of teacher who "failed to get laptop"

Mr. Le Cong Minh, Principal of Chuong Duong Primary School (District 1), signed a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3 at Chuong Duong Primary School, from civil servant work.

The decision clearly stated that the reason for temporarily suspending Ms. Hanh from work is "to verify and clarify the complaint, stabilize the situation of parents and students while considering disciplinary action".

Ms. Hanh is responsible for handing over records, documents, machinery, equipment, teaching aids and other contents related to the school and class to the new homeroom teacher.

During the period of temporary suspension, Ms. Hanh must ensure continuous communication when requested to explain, provide records and documents related to disciplinary review or exchange related information. All regimes and benefits are guaranteed in accordance with regulations.

"The vice principal in charge of professional affairs, office, finance, relevant departments and Ms. Hanh are responsible for implementation," the decision stated.

Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3 at Chuong Duong Primary School, was suspended from work for 15 days.

On the morning of September 30, 24/38 students of grade 4/3 did not come to class. According to parents, the reason was that they had not received any official notice from the school.
