On the evening of June 26, in response to many suspicions of leaked math questions for the 2025 high school graduation exam at a testing site appearing on social media, the National Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam spoke up to confirm that this was "incorrect" information.

"The National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam has immediately transferred the information to the technical department of the Ministry of Public Security to investigate the origin, motive, verify, and strictly handle the case. The handling results will be announced later," the report stated.

In order for the exam to continue to go smoothly, the National Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam also asked people not to share unverified information that could cause public confusion.

This unit added that on the first day of the exam, the questions for the two subjects, literature and math, "received positive feedback from society", and the exams nationwide also took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.

Previously, many accounts shared on social networks a link to an article on the StudyX platform - a platform for asking and answering questions about exercises with the support of artificial intelligence (AI). This post has a question attached to a photo, and both the photo and the content that the user sent match question 2, part III in the math exam code 0118. According to information displayed on the platform, the above question was posted at 3:08 p.m. on June 26.

Meanwhile, at exactly 4 p.m., the bell signaling the end of the math exam rang across the country.

Based on information reported by social media users, Thanh Nien accessed a platform called StudyX and confirmed that this question was still displayed at 10:30 p.m. today, June 26. Right below this question, the platform provided the answer in Vietnamese at 3:09 p.m., just one minute later. The answer clearly stated the idea of solving the problem and the calculation steps, then gave the final result of 1682.8.

According to the introduction, StudyX, headquartered in the US, is a “learning tool” designed to support learners in the process of doing homework. “We provide a combination of AI and human guidance…”, the company’s homepage states.

This year, the high school graduation exam took place over two days, June 26 and 27, with more than 1.1 million candidates participating. Today, candidates completed two subjects: literature and mathematics. Tomorrow, June 27, candidates will continue to take the optional exam (with the new program) and the natural science and social science exam (with the old program) in the morning. In the afternoon, only candidates with the old program will continue to take the foreign language exam.
