The 10th grade admission score in Dak Lak (old) is unusually low, with some schools only scoring 2.5 points.

The benchmark scores for grade 10 admission this year in Dak Lak (old) caused surprise when the admission scores in many places were quite low, with some schools only having 2.5 points.

On the morning of July 1, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of Dak Lak province - said that she had signed a decision to announce the admission scores for grade 10 at 53 public high schools (in the old Dak Lak province) for the 2025-2026 school year. Many schools have unusually low entrance scores, the lowest being only 2.5 points for three subjects.

According to the announcement, the highest standard score for the first choice is Le Quy Don High School (Buon Ma Thuot ward) with 19.5 points. Meanwhile, Hai Ba Trung High School (former Buon Ho town) surprised everyone when it set a standard score of only 2.5 points.

In Buon Ma Thuot City (old location), the benchmark scores of schools range from 3.75 to 19.5 points.

Specifically, Chu Van An High School got 15.25 points, Buon Ma Thuot High School got 14.5 points, Hong Duc High School got 11.25 points, Le Duan High School got 11 points, Tran Phu High School got 8 points and Cao Ba Quat High School got 3.75 points.

In the districts, the benchmark scores vary greatly between schools. In Buon Ho Town (old), Buon Ho High School requires 11.5 points, Huynh Thuc Khang High School requires 6.5 points, while Hai Ba Trung High School only requires 2.5 points.

In the old Buon Don district, Buon Don High School got 10.25 points, Tran Dai Nghia High School got 8 points. In Cu Kuin district, Viet Duc High School and Y Jut High School both got 9.25 points.

In the old Cu M'gar district, Tran Quang Khai High School had the highest standard score of 6.75 points. The remaining schools such as Cu M'gar High School had 4.5 points, Le Huu Trac High School had 4.25 points, and Nguyen Trai High School had 5.25 points.

In the old Ea H'leo district, the highest benchmark score was Vo Van Kiet High School with 8 points, followed by Ea H'leo High School with 7.75 points, Truong Chinh High School with 6.5 points and Phan Chu Trinh High School with 4.5 points.

For Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted (formerly Buon Ma Thuot City), this year 350 students are enrolled in 10 specialized classes. The highest standard score is for the literature class with 39.25 points, the lowest is for the French class with 24.06 points.

The two boarding high schools for ethnic minorities, N'Trang Long and Dam San, each enroll 210 local ethnic minority students, based on enrollment areas. The highest standard score is in Krong Nang district with 17 points, the lowest is in Krong Bong district with 12.5 points.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Dak Lak (old) was held on June 5 and 6 with more than 22,000 candidates taking the exam at 53 examination councils across the province.
