Special high school graduation exam site in Phu Quy island

TPO - Phu Quy island district is 56 nautical miles from the mainland. To facilitate students taking the high school graduation exam, Binh Thuan province has organized an exam site right on the island and hired a high-speed boat to transport the exam papers to the island.

On the morning of June 23, the Departmentof Education and Training of Binh Thuan coordinated with relevant units to transport the 2025 high school graduation exam papers and exam invigilators to Phu Quy island district by speedboat.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province, said: The high-speed boat left Phan Thiet port in the morning of the same day, carrying all the exam papers and the staff and supervisors on duty at the exam site on Phu Quy island. This is the fifth year the island district has organized the high school graduation exam right in the locality, creating favorable conditions for students not to have to travel to the mainland.

The transportation of exam papers is strictly carried out in accordance with regulations, under the supervision of the police force. This year, Phu Quy has 283 candidates registered for the exam, with 12 exam rooms located at Ngo Quyen High School, there will be 37 invigilators at the exam site on Phu Quy Island.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Tho - Principal of Ngo Quyen High School, said: The high-speed ship arrived at Phu Quy port this afternoon, the exam papers were immediately transferred to a storage area with 24/7 surveillance cameras, the police force was on duty continuously and ensured safety and fire prevention.

The examination council on Phu Quy Island will officially start working from June 25. After completing the exam, all exam papers and the team of officials and invigilators will be brought back to the mainland by speedboat.
