Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the minimum admission score based on the high school graduation exam scores with two levels: 19 and 19.5. This is the lowest score that candidates need to achieve to be eligible to apply to the school. In particular, the Engineering major requires a minimum score of 19.6. The Economics , Education, and Foreign Language majors require a minimum score of 19.
For talent selection, candidates need to achieve 55/100 points. For thinking assessment test scores, the floor scores for the two above majors are 46.95 and 46.48/100 respectively.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University, announced that the threshold to ensure input quality for the comprehensive admission method is 50 points (on a 100-point scale). This threshold applies to all candidates participating in the admission process. In addition to the above general admission score threshold, the school also sets its own threshold with a number of specific criteria.

At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, if considering the high school graduation exam scores, the Microchip Design Engineering major has the highest minimum score, from 20.1 to 21.85 points depending on the combination. Next are English Pedagogy and Technology Pedagogy, both with 19 points. The Law major accepts applications with 18 points or more, the rest with 15 points.
If applying based on academic transcript scores, candidates must have an average score of 15-23 points for three subjects in 6 semesters, depending on the major. With the method of considering the scores of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, the school accepts applications with a minimum score of 504-846/1,200 points.
Hanoi University of Industry takes the floor score based on the high school graduation exam score from 18-21. Of which, 4 majors take the floor score of 21: Information Technology, Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Control Engineering and Automation Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Compared to last year, the floor level of these industries decreased by 1-2 points. The remaining industries are divided into two groups, taking the floor level of 18 or 20 points.
In 2025, the University of Transport will have a floor score of 15-20 points. Of which, 6 training majors in Hanoi will have the highest floor score of 20, including: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Computer Science , Information Technology, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering (majoring in Automation, Traffic Control and Automation Engineering).
The remaining majors have a floor score of 15-19. The score of 15 only applies to some majors at the Ho Chi Minh City campus.
The University of Transport Technology accepts applications with scores of 16 points or higher. If based on academic records, the school accepts scores of 18 points or higher. These levels apply to all majors/programs. For Law, the minimum score is 18. In particular, if the admission combination only includes Math or Literature, the score for each subject must be 6 or higher. If the combination includes both, the total score of the two subjects must be over 12 points.
The school considers from 40.18/100 points with the thinking assessment results of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; minimum 56.75/150 points with the capacity assessment results of Hanoi National University. With the consideration of the capacity assessment results organized by Hanoi University of Education, the floor score is 13.25/30 or higher.
This year, the University of Technology has replaced the University of Medicine and Pharmacy as the university with the highest admission floor score in the Danang University system. In particular, the Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering major, specializing in Microelectronics - Microcircuit Design, has the highest score of 21.5 with the condition that the graduation exam math score is 6.25 or higher. Compared to last year, the floor score for this major has increased by 1.5 points. The remaining majors have a floor score ranging from 15-17 points.
The floor score of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering ranges from 17 to 22 points. Of which, the major with the highest score is Logistics and Supply Chain Management, followed by Architecture, Interior Architecture, Computer Science, Data Science, Construction Economics... with 20 points. The remaining majors have a floor score of 17 to 18 points.
