Minimum score for military schools, lowest is 14.5 points

The Ministry of National Defense has just announced the admission scores for regular military colleges and universities this year. Accordingly, the minimum scores for schools range from 14.5 to 23/30 points.

At the 2025 Choice Day, Colonel Do Thanh Tam, Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense, said that there are 3 military schools that determine the standard deviation of scores for combinations in case a major recruits many combinations.

The highest floor score for military schools is 23/30 points.

In the latest announcement of the Ministry of Defense, the three schools include: Border Guard Academy, Political Officer School, and Cryptography Technical College.

The Political Officer School stipulates that the difference in admission scores between the C00 and A00 combinations is 3.5 points (the A00 standard score will be 3.5 points lower than C00), the floor score for the C00 combination is 18/30 points and the A00 combination is 14.5/30 points. This is also the lowest floor score among military schools.

The Border Guard Academy has a difference between C00 and A01 of 3.39 points. In which, the floor score of the A01 combination is 14.61/30 points; the floor score of the C00 combination is 18/30 points.

College of Cryptography Engineering the difference between the combination A00, A01 and D01 is 1.8 points.

This year, the whole country has 20 military schools participating in the entrance exam for full-time military universities and colleges.

The Military Science Academy has the highest minimum score, 23 points for female candidates in language majors (combinations D01, D02, D04).

The two Army Officer Schools 1 and 2 are trained in basic military subjects (one of the subjects trained with the aim of creating a team of cadres to work and meet the requirements of tasks at the commune and district levels), the university floor score is 15/30 points and college is 10/30 points.

Military schools use the results of the competency assessment exams of two national universities for admission.
