The project will adjust the size of sidewalks, median strips, and organize traffic at some intersections on 7 routes: Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, To Huu, Hoang Dao Thuy, Hoang Minh Giam, and Khuat Duy Tien.

These are all routes with especially high traffic density, often congested during rush hour.

According to Nguoi Dua Tin's observations, the sidewalk along Le Van Luong Street is also relatively wide. It is currently being used as a parking lot for cars and motorbikes.

Le Van Luong Street has a high traffic density, and traffic jams often occur during rush hours. According to the assessment of the Hanoi Department of Transport, Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Le Van Luong, and To Huu streets are located on the BRT bus rapid transit route, which is a radial traffic axis. Due to the concentration of vehicles entering and leaving the central area, the traffic volume increases, especially during rush hours, causing traffic congestion.

Hoang Minh Giam Street will also have its sidewalks adjusted in size. According to Nguoi Dua Tin, the sidewalks on this street are relatively wide and have many trees.

Similar to Hoang Dao Thuy street, the sidewalk is also very wide.

Giang Vo Street, where the BRT bus route passes through, will have its roadway widened for traffic.

Khuat Duy Tien Street has a wide median strip, which will soon be adjusted and the infrastructure will be renovated. Cutting the sidewalk and median strip to widen the roadway is a temporary solution, which the Hanoi Department of Transport has implemented on a number of roads for several years. This will help people have more space to move, but in the long term, there must be a comprehensive solution when the reserve land funds are exhausted.
