Announced on the morning of August 8 in Hanoi, LPBank continues to be the main sponsor of V-League. The cooperation agreement affirms the long-term cooperation between VPF, FPT and the sponsoring partner, aiming to enhance the image and quality of the highest level football tournament in Vietnam. The proof is the new brand identity of LPBank V-League launched.

The new season will start on August 15 and is expected to end on June 20, 2026. After pushing PVF CAND to replace Quang Nam , V-League still has 14 teams competing in 26 rounds with 182 matches. The total prize value of the top 3 teams is 9.5 billion VND, in which the champion in addition to the cup and gold medal will receive 5 billion VND; the runner-up and bronze medalists will receive 3 and 1.5 billion VND respectively.

According to the tournament organizers, the plus point of the season is that there are many derby matches. In addition, the competition is also higher because there are 2 direct relegation spots.

Similar to the previous 4 seasons, all matches of V-League 2025/26 are copyrighted, co-produced and broadcasted byFPT Play. Many new technologies are applied in this season, aiming to improve the image quality of the tournament, serving fans in the most perfect way.

According to the tournament's Organizing Committee, VPF has added 1 more VAR vehicle, increasing the number to 5 standard VAR vehicles, aiming to complete the goal of "covering" VAR technology in the V-League (video assistant referee).

Last season, Nam Dinh Blue Steel successfully defended the championship title for the second consecutive time. This year's race is expected to be more fierce with Hanoi Police, Viettel The Cong and Hanoi Club all strengthening their forces.
