According to regulations, this year Hanoi announced exam scores and 10th grade admission scores at the same time to avoid confusing information for students and parents.
Currently, Hanoi has 4 specialized high schools: Hanoi - Amsterdam (Ams), Nguyen Hue, Chu Van An and Son Tay.
This year, the chemistry class of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted had the highest standard score of 42.75 points, the biology class had the lowest standard score of 34 points. The Chinese and history classes also had the lowest standard scores of 37.15 and 37.25.
At Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, the chemistry class also has a high standard score of 40 points, while the French class has the lowest standard score of 30.20 points, and the biology class has 35.50 points.
Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted, chemistry class takes 38.25 points, history class takes 33.25 points.

Candidates in Hanoi can register their wishes to be admitted to the 10th grade of two specialized high schools. Candidates applying to specialized schools must take exams in math, literature, foreign language (general subjects) and specialized subjects.
