The 15th day of the seventh lunar month is an occasion for people to express their deep gratitude to their ancestors, grandparents, and parents, demonstrating the Vietnamese philosophy of "remembering the source of water when drinking".
Grasping the need to order trays of food and offerings on the full moon day, at this time, many fanpages and Facebook account owners have quickly "offered" products with many diverse and eye-catching forms.

Ms. Ta Thi Hanh (office worker in Thanh Sen ward) shared: “Because I am busy, I order the tray of offerings online to be able to prepare carefully for my family's important holiday. I find that today's services are very diverse, with many eye-catching designs. Besides pre-cooked dishes, I can also buy pre-processed ingredient sets, when I get home, I only need a few simple steps to easily complete the elaborate offering tray."
For about a week now, the staff of Hong Thanh Kitchen (Cao Thang Street, Thanh Sen Ward) has been busy preparing orders for the full moon offering in July. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thanh - the owner of the establishment shared: "Compared to previous years, this year people have a greater demand for full moon offerings in July, earlier. We started receiving orders about a month ago, peaking from the 9th of the 7th lunar month to the 15th of the 7th lunar month. In addition to traditional sets such as sticky rice and chicken, fruit trays... many customers also have their own requests for trays of various sweet soups, vegetarian fish sauce trays, trays for wandering souls... Depending on the demand, we will adjust to suit the selling price, while still ensuring the completeness when displaying offerings for incense offerings".

According to Ms. Hong Thanh, the prices of this year's offerings and offerings are relatively stable compared to previous years. Green bean sweet soup, lotus seed sweet soup, floating rice balls... cost from 20,000 - 35,000 VND/serving; vegetarian fish sauce from 400 - 600,000 VND/tray; chicken sticky rice from 600,000 - 2,000,000 VND/tray depending on the size and decoration requirements...

“At this time, on average, my kitchen can receive up to 200 regular offerings per day; elaborate offerings can receive 10-15 per day. To meet the high demand during the days leading up to the holiday, the store has mobilized a team of employees to work continuously, and at the same time has options for selecting ingredients to ensure quality and food hygiene and safety,” Ms. Hong Thanh shared.

On social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo... these days, it is not difficult for people to access "promotional" posts with diverse and eye-catching offerings for the full moon of July. In addition to the offerings of five fruits, sticky rice with chicken, banh chung, savory dishes, vegetarian dishes... customers can choose many other new and eye-catching dishes such as: xu xe cake, banh com 79,000 VND/10 pieces; mochi banh com 65,000 VND/box; lotus buns 89,000 VND/5 pieces; peach buns, peony 75,000 VND/5 pieces...

New products are constantly updated on the fanpage and Zalo community group so that customers can connect and shop in the most convenient way."

Not only businesses, many individuals also take advantage of earning extra income from online shopping activities on the occasion of the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga (Binh Quang village, Cam Binh commune) shared: "I often make cakes and cook sweet soup on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month and people praise it as delicious and suitable for their taste. This year, I decided to prepare the available sets of ingredients to post on my personal Facebook to sell. With a simple and eye-catching processing method, I have received more than 40 orders so far, and it is expected to continue to increase in the next few days. On average, I sell each set of 30 balls for 80,000 - 85,000 VND. After purchasing, customers only need to boil water, drop the cake in for about 10 minutes and then enjoy it."
According to many business owners, with the volume of online orders being many times higher than normal days, individuals and units have mobilized human resources and worked overtime to deliver orders to customers on time. In addition, most of the ingredients are prepared, selected, and processed meticulously, contributing to the neatness and showing the homeowner's respect when placing them on the altar. Orders are expected to continue to increase on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of the seventh lunar month.
