Blizzard's customer support account later confirmed the attack via a Twitter post at 10:24 a.m. local time, saying: "We are constantly monitoring an ongoing DDoS attack that is affecting latency and connectivity to our games."

As of around 12:30 p.m. local time, Blizzard said the issue had not yet been resolved. At that time, many players attempted to log into Diablo IV , but were only able to play for a short time before being disconnected. On Reddit, several other players also said they were unable to access Blizzard's hit title for at least 10 to 12 hours.
