According to the set target, by 2030, the cassava growing area of ​​Quang Nam will stabilize at 9,000 hectares, with fresh root output reaching about 150 thousand tons; of which about 70% will be used for deep processing of some products (starch, ethanol, MSG, food, animal feed, etc.).

The cassava growing area using varieties that meet quality standards and have been announced for circulation reaches 40-50%; the cassava growing area applying sustainable farming processes reaches over 50%.

Call for and attract 1-2 businesses to invest in the field of linking production, processing and consumption of products ensuring food safety and hygiene conditions and the environment.

Each district-level locality with cassava growing area builds 1-2 sustainable cassava cultivation models, using varieties with the right quality standards associated with growing area codes, and digital transformation in production, harvesting, processing, and product consumption.

By 2050, Quang Nam's cassava industry will continue to develop sustainably, with 70-80% of the cassava growing area applying sustainable farming processes, 60-70% of the cassava growing area using standard varieties, and over 80% of fresh cassava output used for deep processing.

Expanding concentrated production areas associated with growing area codes for cassava growing areas; each district-level locality with cassava growing area has 2-3 cooperatives linking production, harvesting, processing, and product consumption...
