On the evening of June 7, the atmosphere on the banks of the Han River exploded during the second night of the "Creative Arts" competition of DIFF 2025, when tens of thousands of people and tourists turned to the sky to witness the competition between Surex Firma Rodzinna (Poland) and rookie Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam). Entering the international "arena" for the first time, the fireworks team of the Ministry of National Defense made the audience burst with surprise and pride.

With the performance "Aspiration to Rise", Z121 takes viewers through the development journey of Da Nang from an old trading port to today's modern city, shown through 5 elaborately staged fireworks shows. Right from the first seconds, the colorful layers of fireworks blooming to the rhythm of vibrant electronic music painted the sky with the image of a youthful, vibrant and constantly changing Da Nang.

Z121 also made history in DIFF with a special technical mark, being the first team to use colored smoke cannons, creating purple and blue streaks flying slowly like the Milky Way in the night sky, a novel visual effect, rarely seen in any previous team.

The performance continued to take the audience through a range of emotions: from nostalgic calm to proud climax. The climax was the moment the red flag with yellow star appeared with fireworks to the background music "As if Uncle Ho was here on the great victory day". All the stands sang and clapped, creating a bustling atmosphere like a national festival. At that moment, the audience unanimously affirmed: Vietnamese fireworks are not inferior to other countries in terms of technique, emotion and artistic depth.

Mr. Duc Long, a tourist from Hanoi , emotionally shared: "I was really surprised by the performance of the Z121 Vietnam team. Although it was their first time participating, they told a very profound story, combining extremely delicate techniques. They are completely worthy of being a strong candidate for the Final night."

Facing the home team is an experienced opponent, Surex Firma Rodzinna (Poland). After the success of "Legend of the Dragon" in 2024, the Polish team continues to write a new chapter with the competition "Love of the Dragon". With epic symphonic music, high-altitude fireworks, spirals and lighting effects staged like a mythological film, the Polish team tells a poetic love story between two dragon mascots Draco and Luna. The climax is when a series of high-altitude fireworks explode at the same time, creating a Dragon Bridge of light in the night sky of Da Nang.
If Poland's performance brought a technical and romantic performance, Z121 touched the hearts of the public with national emotions, pride and freshness in performance. And although it has not yet reached the final night, in the hearts of thousands of viewers watching live and on television, the Vietnamese team has won.
The third competition night (June 14) with the theme "Connecting Journey" between Canada - China; Night 4 (June 21): Portugal - England; Night 5 (June 28): Korea - Italy will be broadcast live on Da Nang Radio and Television Station - DRT from 8:10 p.m. The final night (July 12) will be broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television.
