This is the first time the exhibition of national achievements has been held on an area of nearly 260,000 m², bringing together 28 ministries, branches, 34 provinces and cities and more than 200 enterprises. Up to now, the exhibition items have been basically completed, from design, content development, construction of exhibition space...
The exhibition introduces the country's outstanding achievements in the fields of: Industry-technology; investment-trade; agriculture -rural areas; security-defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, information, sports and tourism... This can be considered an overall picture of the process of building and developing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam over the past 80 years.
The exhibition space is organized into many areas: an overview area introducing 80 years of the country's formation and development; a green economic area - clean energy, an aerospace industrial area, a security - defense area, an international area and a cultural industrial area. Each area is scientifically designed, rich in aesthetics, creating harmony in the overall picture.
A special highlight is the “creative building” displaying 12 cultural industries, reflecting the potential and development of the field that is playing an increasingly important role in the national economy. The content is presented in many diverse forms: panels, photos, drawings, documents, artifacts combined with 3D mapping projections, touch screens, virtual reality experiences, digital technology applications and artificial intelligence. The combination of tradition and modernity brings visitors a lively, attractive, accessible space that appeals to the public, especially young people.
The exhibition also has a dedicated area to introduce regional culinary specialties, promote the socio-economic potential of localities, the diversity of 54 ethnic groups... thereby promoting the image of a friendly, rich-in-identity Vietnam to international friends.
The exhibition “80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey” not only recreates a glorious historical journey but also conveys a message about the aspiration for development, affirming the country's position in the integration era.
This is an opportunity for people across the country to look back on the 80-year journey of building and defending the Fatherland, while nurturing faith and the will to rise up for a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
