U.21 volleyball team improves with each match

Looking at the results, the Vietnamese women's U.21 volleyball team disappointed when they lost all 3 matches in the group stage of the VTV Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament against the Taiwanese team, Thailand U.21 and Korabelka Club (Russia). However, experts saw positive signs from the players to the playing style of coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team.

Captain, 19-year-old main striker Dang Thi Hong played with courage and confidence and was the number 1 scorer for the U.21 Vietnam team. 17-year-old talent Pham Quynh Huong also took advantage of her height (1.85 m) to powerfully hit the ball and actively participated in supporting the defense. Coach Nguyen Trong Linh's students showed progress through each match at VTV Cup 2025. In the match against U.21 Thailand, the U.21 Vietnam team created a tight game, at times playing better than their opponents. Due to the lack of international competition opportunities, the U.21 Vietnam team is still immature and unstable, sometimes playing very well but also losing many points from quite simple situations.
