This is the second year that the Ministry of Information and Communications has coordinated with Google to organize an intensive training program for press agencies on specific skills related to digital journalism and how to create content in the context of digital space.
The comprehensive systematic training program is implemented to equip in-depth knowledge and skills to help Vietnamese press agencies build strategies and innovate business in the context of digital transformation.
The program includes 3 main topics: Understanding and developing readers, Data solutions - Building a sustainable data platform and Advertising revenue.
According to experts and speakers, the trend of readers accessing content is changing. Readers are attracted to short, entertaining and easily shareable video content. Therefore, press agencies need to understand readers and find appropriate approaches to optimize the reader experience.
According to the course organizers, the focus of the training program is to support newsrooms through technological innovation, a toolkit that helps journalists exploit Google's machine learning and AI technology to work more creatively and safely.
During the course, students continue to clarify issues such as: How to understand customer files and develop users; difficulties and solutions when building a data platform, how to build a comprehensive digital advertising revenue model...
