The 325th death anniversary of Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh took place at the temple of Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh, located in the National Historical and Cultural Park (HCMC).

The death anniversary is held annually to promote the tradition of remembering the source of water, and to recognize the merits of Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.

Remembering the merits of Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh and many previous generations, there is nothing better than the constant efforts in studying and working to be worthy successors, contributing to the construction, development and integration of the country and the city" - Ms. Thanh Luan said.
After the incense offering ceremony, leaders and former leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, delegates and people offered incense and flowers in memory of Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.

In addition, the organizers also organized folk games with the theme "Towards the origin of the Southern land" , contributing to propagating andeducating the national historical tradition, fostering and promoting patriotism, revolutionary heroism, and national self-reliance.

The organizers also served free food to people who came to offer incense to Duc Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh on the occasion of the death anniversary.
On June 10, the Management Board of the National Historical and Cultural Park and the People's Committee of Thu Duc City organized a festival to make cakes to offer to Lord Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.
There were 10 teams participating in the cake-making festival. Each team wrapped and cooked 100 banh ú and 100 banh it. These cakes were offered to Duc Le Thanh Hou Nguyen Huu Canh, expressing gratitude to our ancestors.
Performances showing national pride
According to the organizing committee, the construction of the temple of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh started on April 20, 2015, in area II of the National Historical and Cultural Park and was inaugurated and put into operation to serve the people in 2016 on the occasion of the 316th death anniversary of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.
On October 18, 2018, the city held a ceremony to cast the statue of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.
On January 18, 2019, the city held a ceremony to install and inaugurate the statue of Duc Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019.
On July 3, 2023 (May 16, Quy Mao year), the Management Board of the National Historical - Cultural Park coordinated with the People's Committee of Thu Duc City to organize a ceremony to announce the content of the stele of Duc Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.
Up to now, Nguyen Huu Canh temple has been in operation for 9 years, and is the place where the death anniversary is held every year.
This project is built on an area of nearly 7,500m2. Of which the main temple area is 631m2.
